Bio
Austin, Texas native and current Connecticut resident, Tanya Parker virtually cut her teeth on music. Raised in a musical family, Parker has been writing songs since she was 8 years old and performing in bands since the age of 15.
Her repertoire includes a wide variety of music ranging from acoustic ballads to western story songs, modern country, and rock. She has been compared to Janice Joplin, Jennifer Nettles, Martina McBride, and Joan Baez but her broad musical diversity creates what can only be described as a wholly original sound.
Tanya Parker has shared the stage with guitar legend Jim Weider, Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett from Little Feat, Nashville recording artist, Johnny Lee, and numerous up and coming Red Dirt Country acts. She is currently involved in several projects, including a project with AnalogMike from AnalogMan Pedals (https://www.analogman.com) - Analog Mike and the Digital Artifacts.
